Hello, 

I am Nancy Alvarez, your new Associate Principal of Administrative Services (APA). As the new Associate Principal at Oak Grove, I am excited to bring my passion for student success, collaborative leadership, and school improvement to this role. 

Throughout my career, I have built strong partnerships with students, staff, families, and administrators while supporting a positive school culture and high-quality instruction. My leadership experience includes student discipline, instructional support, MTSS, 504 compliance, English Learner services, assessment coordination, professional development, master scheduling, and family engagement. Serving as a Teacher, Student Advisor, most recently as Summer School Coordinator has strengthened my ability to lead teams, implement effective systems, and create environments where both students and educators can thrive. 

I am committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and academically rigorous school community while continuing to grow as an instructional leader in service of Oak Grove's students and families.

• NU- Master of Education Focused on ELL, Inspired Teaching and Learning (2021)

Responsibilities:

• Supervises student discipline and attendance.

• Assists in evaluation of classified and certificated staff as assigned.

• Coordinates use, construction, repair and maintenance of grounds and facilities.

• Assists in coordination and supervision of co-curricular program.

• Maintains student records.

• Coordinates Short Term Independent Studies, summer school and home teaching.
