Anna SHORTT Thomas

Anna Shortt Thomas was born and raised in San Jose, graduating from Prospect HS in 1985. She earned her BA in English from Colorado College, where she also played soccer for the Tigers. She began her teaching journey in 1992, teaching English and coaching soccer at most all of her stops along the way: Abu Dhabi International School (U.A.E.), Gilroy HS, American College of Sofia (Bulgaria), Santa Teresa HS, and Oak Grove HS.

In 2014, Anna made her first leap outside the classroom to become an Instructional Coach for ESUHSD, which inspired her to pursue further education and learn more about social justice topics. She earned her masters degree in education in 2020, and is currently finishing up her administrative credential.
