ELD stands for English Language Development. ELD courses cover the 9th-12th grade California State ELD Standards. Students are engaged in daily activities which help them develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in English. ELD Language Arts courses focus on listening and speaking skills while ELD Literacy courses focus on reading and writing skills.
