This year, East Side Union High School District is beginning a transition away from the Common Core Integrated Math pathway and returning to a more traditional math sequence of Geometry, Algebra I, and Algebra II. The transition will be implemented gradually, one year at a time, starting with Geometry for 2025-2026 school year. The following year, 2026-2027, we will incorporate Geometry (9th grade) and Algebra (10th grade). Concluding with the transition in the 2027-2028 school year, Geometry (9th grade), Algebra (10th grade), Algebra II (11th grade). This shift is designed to provide a clearer progression of mathematical skills and concepts to better support student learning and success.
